Nippon Steel Acquisition Aims to Boost US Manufacturing
Nippon Steel’s chairman, Eiji Hashimoto, met with Prime Minister shigeru Ishiba on Wednesday to discuss the company’s acquisition of U.S. Steel. Hashimoto emphasized the importance of demonstrating the value of collaboration between Japanese and U.S. manufacturers in the steel industry.
