Nissan New Zealand has launched the Ariya electric SUV in three models: Engage, Advance, and Evolve. This follows an earlier decision to delay the launch due to a weak electric vehicle market.

The Ariya comes in three configurations:
- Engage: 63kWh battery, single-motor front-drive, 160kW power, 398km range.
- Advance: 63kWh battery, single-motor front-drive, similar specifications to Engage.
- Evolve: 87kWh battery, dual-motor AWD, 290kW power, 497km range.

The prices for the models are:
- Engage: $76,990 (launch price: $59,990)
- Advance: $82,990 (launch price: $69,990)
- Evolve: $109,990 (launch price: $89,990)

There is no fixed period for the launch pricing. The company will observe sales trends. The Advance model includes additional features like a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, and more driver-assistance features compared to the Engage model.

The Evolve model offers more features, including larger wheels, upgraded seating, and increased towing capacity from 750kg to 1500kg.
