NJ Police Investigate Death at Livingston Golf Course

Inquiry Underway Following Discovery of Body in Livingston, New Jersey

Livingston, NJ – Essex County ⁣prosecutors, in collaboration with the Livingston Police Department, are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered Tuesday morning, October 7, 2025, at Cedar Hill Golf Course.

According to a statement released by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, a golf course worker made ⁤the discovery. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the ​circumstances surrounding the death, nor have they publicly identified the woman.

The‌ cause and manner of death are currently pending the results of an autopsy,officials stated. The Prosecutor’s Office indicated⁣ that further information will be released as the ​investigation progresses.

Cedar Hill Golf Course, a public 18-hole course located in Livingston, remains open. The Livingston Police Department is assisting the Essex County ⁣Prosecutor’s Office with ‌the investigation, standard procedure in cases involving potential criminal activity⁤ within the ⁣township.
