Mason Ho Takes on Team Rider Role With Ritual Vision as Brand Hits U.S.
Eyewear brand Ritual Vision, co-founded by Australian freesurfers Harry bryant, Noa Deane, adn Mikey Wright, has officially launched in the United States. Known for its blend of punk rock aesthetics and surf culture, the brand has also announced Mason Ho as its newest team rider.
Dion Agius, creative director and Tasmanian freesurfer, spearheads the marketing. Agius, who previously co-founded Epokhe, aims to make Ritual Vision a distinct entity. The brand emphasizes affordability and durability, using injection-molded recycled polycarbonate for its frames.
“I’ve worked in sunnies for the last 14 years,” Agius said. He noted that acetate frames are prone to warping in heat, a problem addressed by ritual Vision’s choice of materials.“With this form of injection molding, you don’t get that. they’re stronger and more robust and you can bring the price down on the manufacturing.”

Agius said the goal is to offer affordable sunglasses, making them accessible to a wider audience. The addition of Ho, a highly regarded surfer, aligns with this vision.
“I’ve known Mason for a long time, but have gotten to know him better over the last few years,” Agius said. “He’s one of those guys who seems to be everyone’s favorite surfer. At the beginning of Ritual Vision, there was a lot of talk about what the dream team could be. For all of us, Mason was at the top of the list.”
What’s next
Ritual Vision plans to release a feature-length surf film, “Ritualistic Tendencies,” this November, curated by Wade Carroll. The company hopes to host screenings in both Australia and the United States, reinforcing its commitment to surf culture through film and video.
