‘Nobody Wants this’ Season 2: Netflix Release Date Announced

The second season of “Nobody Wants This,” starring Kristen Bell as Joanne and Adam Brody as Noah, will debut‍ globally on Netflix ‍Oct. 23. The announcement‍ followed an emmys FYC ⁤event promoting the ‍show’s ⁣first season.

Inspired by ⁤creator Erin Foster’s life, Season 1 ⁤explored the relationship between Joanne, an agnostic podcaster,⁤ and Noah, an unconventional rabbi. The ⁤season⁢ concluded ‍with Joanne’s uncertainty about converting ‍to Judaism, leaving their future ⁤in doubt. The new season promises to delve further into their budding romance and the ⁢challenges thay face.

The original cast returns, with Leighton Meester ⁣joining as Abby, an⁣ Instagram influencer and Joanne’s childhood rival. Miles Fowler,Alex Karpovsky,and Arian Moayed will also appear.

Netflix renewed the⁤ rom-com after its September 2024 premiere. foster ‍told Variety that fan reactions and creating the ‍show were a “career highlight.”

“The unbelievable cast, crew, producers and executives all made this into the show it is today, and to experience viewers’ reactions to this series now that it’s out in the world has been more than anything ‍I could have dreamed,” Foster said.

“Nobody Wants This” quickly gained popularity, captivating audiences with‍ the chemistry between joanne and Noah. Erin Foster and Sara Foster return as executive producers for ⁢Season 2. Nora Silver joins as an executive producer,with Jenni Konner and ⁤Bruce Eric Kaplan serving as showrunners.
