Official visits for the Northeast’s top 2026 football prospects are in full swing as players evaluate their
options. Several high-profile recruits are making key trips this month, potentially shaping their college
decisions.
Offensive tackle Edward Baker of Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, a three-star recruit, has revised his
official visit schedule.He will now visit Mississippi from June 20-22, after receiving an offer from the
Rebels on June 3. Baker previously planned to visit Penn State.He also has visits scheduled with Tennessee
(June 6-8) and North Carolina State (June 13-15). Baker, who has already visited Virginia and Arkansas, aims
to make his commitment decision in late June or early July.
Tavian Branch, a versatile high-three-star prospect, is focusing on the defensive line. Branch, who recently
named Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Rutgers as his top five, will announce his decision on
June 11. He recently visited Rutgers and is scheduled to visit Oklahoma (june 6-8) and Penn State (June 13-15).
Rutgers and Oklahoma appear to be the frontrunners.
Chase Geter, a three-star cornerback from Virginia, recently visited Duke. He is scheduled to visit Wisconsin
(June 6-8) and Penn State (June 13-15).Michigan recently offered Geter, but the schools he is officially
visiting remain the primary focus.
Darius Gray, a four-star guard and top-ranked player nationally, has a busy June ahead.He has already visited
Virginia, Georgia, and Clemson. Visits to Tennessee, Ohio State, LSU, Penn State, and South Carolina are also
planned.gray aims to assess the locker room atmosphere at each school. He plans to narrow his list to five in
early July. A planned visit to Auburn has been canceled. While LSU and South Carolina are considered
contenders, Gray’s recruitment remains open.
Savion Hiter, the No.2-ranked running back nationally, recently visited ohio State. He is scheduled to visit
Georgia (June 6-8), Michigan (June 13-15), and Tennessee (June 20-22).Michigan and Tennessee are considered
top contenders for Hiter, although Ohio State and Georgia remain in the mix.
Xavier Jackson, a three-star cornerback from Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey, moved his Minnesota
official visit to May 30-June 1. He will now visit Michigan State (june 13-15), Pittsburgh (June 6-8), Temple
(June 16-17), and Syracuse (June 19-21).
Travis Johnson,a four-star Virginia wide receiver,will complete his official visits in June and aims to
commit around July 4. He recently visited South Carolina and is scheduled to visit penn State (June 6-8).
Michigan, Georgia, and Virginia Tech are also in consideration. He visited Indiana in early May.
Jermaine Kinsler,a four-star defensive end committed to Texas A&M,will visit College Station (June 6-8). He
is reportedly “fully locked in” with the Aggies and is actively recruiting other prospects.
Joey O’Brien, a Rivals250 member, has narrowed his choices to Clemson, notre Dame, Oregon, and Penn State,
with a decision date set for June 20. He has visited Penn state and Clemson, and is scheduled to visit Oregon
(June 6-8) and Notre Dame (June 13-15). A planned visit to Tennessee has been canceled. Notre dame and Penn
State have been long-time contenders, but Clemson and Oregon are also in contention.
Amauri Polydor, a three-star cornerback, will visit Penn State (June 6-8) and Michigan State (June 13-15).
Penn State could potentially secure a commitment from Polydor after his visit.
Jase Rhodes, a three-star Virginia cornerback, is adjusting his visit schedule. He will visit James Madison
(June 6-8) and Wake Forest (June 20-22). A planned visit to South Florida is off. Illinois is also in
contention and may schedule a visit for Rhodes (June 13-15). rhodes seeks a program with a suitable scheme and
strong academics.
Carter Scruggs, a Rivals250 interior offensive lineman, is set to commit on Thursday night. Clemson is
considered the frontrunner after a recent visit. Scruggs also has visits planned to Michigan, Penn State, and
Georgia, but it remains to be seen if he will proceed with those visits.Oklahoma is also in his top five.
