Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville,Ky., is expanding its services with a new pediatric care campus. The healthcare system’s second dedicated children’s hospital will be constructed on a 150-acre site in Jefferson County, near Interstates 64 and 265. This meaningful investment aims to enhance pediatric healthcare access across Kentucky and Southern Indiana, focusing on complex medical needs.
Russell Cox, president and CEO of Norton Healthcare and norton Children’s, emphasized the project’s comprehensive approach. The new campus will integrate advanced technology, leading pediatric specialists, and family-centered care in one location. The Norton Children’s expansion will occur in phases, beginning with the construction of the new hospital.
