Norwich City Adds Harry Darling to Bolster Defense

Norwich City has secured the services of defender Harry Darling, who will join the Canaries on a free transfer from Swansea City.Darling’s contract with Swansea expires June 30, and he will officially become a Norwich player July 1. He signed a three-year contract,with an option for an additional year,keeping him at the club until June 2028.
This move reunites Darling with Liam Manning, who managed him at MK Dons during the 2021-22 season.The pair will look to replicate their previous success as norwich aims for a strong showing in the Championship. The addition of darling is expected to improve the team’s defensive capabilities and leadership on the field.
Darling, 25, brings significant Championship experience to norwich, having made 112 appearances for Swansea City, scoring 12 goals. He began his career at Cambridge, playing 73 games and scoring three goals, while also gaining experience through loan spells at various clubs.
Darling expressed his enthusiasm about joining Norwich and working with Manning again. “Liam being in charge, I worked with him before at MK Dons so I didn’t need convincing to much about the style of play. I really enjoyed it last time working with him,” Darling said.
