Uljin Office of Education Conducts Training for School Meal Service Personnel
The Gyeongbuk Uljin Office of Education held the 2024 School Food Service Hygiene, Safety, and Integrity Training on September 20. Approximately 70 elementary, middle, and high school cooks and cook assistants in the district attended the training, which was held in the conference room on the 3rd floor.
Strengthening Hygiene and Safety Management Capabilities
The training aimed to provide safe and delicious school meals by strengthening the hygiene and safety management capabilities of school meal service staff. Kim Dong-sik, the director of the Health Promotion Center at the Korea Educational Environment Protection Agency, was invited as an instructor to provide preventive management education through trends and cases of food poisoning occurrence, as well as integrity and bullying prevention education.
Creating a Positive Atmosphere
Kim Jin-tak, head of the Education Support Division, emphasized the importance of creating a positive atmosphere where colleagues take care of each other, especially during tough times. He encouraged the food service workers to do their best to provide safe and delicious school meals in the future.
