Musical Reunion and Performances
The centerpiece of the weekend will be live music from the band that supported Bowie during his memorable 2000 Glastonbury set. This lineup includes several long-term collaborators from different eras of the artist’s career.

Guitarist Earl Slick, a 73-year-old American musician, will return to the stage. Slick’s history with Bowie spans several decades, having played lead guitar on the 1970s albums Young Americans
and Station To Station
, as well as Heathen
, Reality
, and the 2013 comeback album The Next Day
.
In a video released to announce the event, Slick performed Golden Years
on the roof of Cameron House, stating that the weekend will be a celebration of David Bowie’s life and music in aid of Save the Children
.
The ensemble also features keyboard player Mike Garson, who contributed to more than a dozen of Bowie’s albums, including Aladdin Sane
. Bassist Gail Ann Dorsey will also perform; her vocal duet on Under Pressure
was a highlighted moment of the original Glastonbury performance.
Rounding out the house band are drummer Sterling Campbell and musical director and multi-instrumentalist Mark Plati, both of whom played with Bowie beginning in the early 1990s. The event will also feature special guest performers.
Exhibitions and Special Events
In addition to the live musical performances, the charity weekend will include several curated tributes to the artist’s visual and professional legacy.
A photography exhibition will be presented by Chris Duffy. He is the son of Brian Duffy, the photographer who shot three of David Bowie’s album covers.
The event programming also includes the screening of rare footage of Bowie and an auction of signed guitars.
Guests will also attend a gala dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef Graeme Cheevers as part of the festivities at Cameron House.
