IMG’s Sport 24,a leading in-flight and on-ship entertainment service,has expanded its soccer portfolio with a deal to broadcast the upcoming FIFA Club world Cup (CWC). This agreement ensures passengers on various airlines and cruise lines can access live coverage of the tournament.
The FIFA Club World Cup, featuring 32 teams, will be held across 12 venues in the United States from June 14 to July 13. Sport 24 secured the rights through a sub-licensing agreement with DAZN, the global sports streaming service that holds worldwide rights to the CWC.
Sport 24 will provide coverage of over 55 matches, totaling 115 hours, from the CWC, which includes 63 games in total. The soccer tournament coverage extends to airlines and cruise lines that offer Sport 24 as an entertainment option, including Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish
