NSW Rugby Reflects on a Triumphant 2024 Season

Sydney,NSW – As ⁣the​ curtain falls on 2024,NSW rugby Union ‌(NSWRU) takes a moment to celebrate an⁣ unusual year marked by thrilling victories,community growth,and unwavering dedication. From the inaugural​ Waratahs Women’s Shield to the resounding success of the Pasifika Cup, 2024 has been a testament to ⁤the spirit and resilience ‌of the NSW rugby family.

This year saw​ a ‍surge in participation and engagement across all levels of ⁤the‍ game. Over 445 new coaches joined the ranks, eager to share their passion and expertise. A groundbreaking ⁤new coaching⁣ curriculum was launched,equipping ⁢coaches with the latest tools and techniques. ‍

Young athletes shone brightly, with NSW Schools dominating the ASRU Championship, securing titles in Opens Boys, Girls, and U16 Girls‍ divisions. The Pasifika Cup in Western Sydney brought communities together through⁢ the ⁢shared love of rugby, while 30 Get Talkin Mental Health workshops⁤ highlighted NSWRUS ⁤commitment to player ‌well-being.
