Jecheon City Health Center is launching the second round of its ‘Maternal Health Promotion Program’ in October, aiming to provide comprehensive support to expectant mothers and new parents. This initiative offers tailored health management services and engaging activities throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, fostering a nurturing environment for families to thrive.

Program Highlights

Pregnant Women’s Psychological Care: Preventing prenatal and postpartum depression (every Tuesday, 10 AM)
Beginner’s Mom/Dad Class: Essential guidance for first-time parents (every Thursday, 7 PM)
Pregnant Women’s Yoga Class: Promoting physical and mental well-being (every Friday, 1:30 PM)
Baby Massage Class: Strengthening mother-infant bonds (every Friday, 10 AM)
* Infant Five Senses Playground: Encouraging sensory development (every Friday, 11 AM)

New Additions to the Program

In the second period, the ‘Pregnant Women Yoga Class’ and ‘Pregnant Women Dentist Periodontal Class’ will be offered in conjunction. This unique collaboration will provide oral examinations, oral health education, and customized oral services, including periodontal pocket measurement and dental floss (every Friday at 2:20 PM, from October 11 to November 8).

Special Lecture: “Am I a High-Risk Pregnant Woman, Too?”

In partnership with Chungbuk National University Hospital’s commercialization project for a Chungbuk-type smart data platform, a special lecture will be held for applicants to the pregnant woman program. This initiative aims to address concerns and provide valuable insights for expectant mothers.

Empowering Families

A health center official emphasized, “We are committed to delivering high-quality programs that promote the health and emotional stability of mothers and babies. Our goal is to create a supportive atmosphere where new parents can confidently raise their children and engage in joint parenting.”
