Latvian technology company Nutrameg has surpassed the 100 miljonu euro revenue threshold, driven by rapid international growth and the integration of artificial intelligence tools into its daily operations, according to reports from business news outlet Dienas Bizness. The firm’s productivity now stands at approximately one million euro for every employee, which is nearly ten times higher than the average figure recorded in the Latvian startup sector according to the Latvian Startup Report 2025 data.
Productivity and Economic Impact
Nutrameg co-founder Kristofs Blaus stated that the company’s productivity figures place the team in a different category than most businesses, noting an ambition to become one of the most productive teams in Europe. Blaus emphasized the broader economic importance of competitive exporting businesses, stating that Latvia requires enterprises capable of earning on the global market to ensure wealth returns to the domestic economy. Operations manager Ieva Driksna noted that over the past two years, the firm has contributed 10 miljonus euro in taxes. Driksna pointed out that public infrastructure like education and security relies on a stronger gross domestic product generated by high-productivity export companies.

Workforce Strategy and Compensation
The company currently employs nearly 100 people across seven countries. Systematic integration of artificial intelligence tools has supported daily efficiency gains and subsequent profit growth, leading to two million euros paid out in bonuses and dividends to staff over the last two years. Co-founder Egija Seile described the workplace model as an environment offering tools typically reserved for business owners, including access to global markets, capital, and technology. Seile added that the company expects ownership-style thinking from every team member while sharing the financial value created without requiring staff to bear standard entrepreneurial risks.
