On April 14, Tony D’Angelo made his first title defense against Ethan Page. This match served as a rematch from Stand & Deliver, where Vice had defeated Jayne and Kendal Grey in a Triple Threat Match to win the title.

The rivalry between Vice and Jayne intensified on the April 7 episode of NXT, during which Jayne and her stablemates, Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley, confronted Vice in a verbal altercation during the closing moments of the show.

The broadcast featured the continuation of the tournament to crown a new WWE Men’s Speed Champion. In a first-round tournament match, EK Prosper faced Dorian Van Dux. The winner of this encounter is scheduled to face Lexis King in the finals to determine the champion for the vacant title.
