The ​Oakland Roots‌ have named⁣ Benny feilhaber, a former U.S. national team midfielder, as their new coach.The USL Championship team made the announcement Monday.

Feilhaber, 40,​ brings⁣ a ​wealth of experience to the Oakland Roots. He earned 44 caps for the U.S. national team between 2007 and ‍2017,scoring ⁢two goals. He also represented the U.S.at the 2010 World Cup, making three substitute appearances.
