Liam Gallagher has confirmed that Oasis will play Rome in 2027, reinforcing growing indications that the band plans to extend their reunion tour into another year of European dates.

The Oasis frontman made the statement while greeting fans in Rome on April 23, 2026. When asked if he would be in “Roma next year,” Gallagher replied: “Without a doubt. 100 per cent.”

The comment follows the conclusion of Oasis’ Live ’25 reunion tour, which wrapped up in São Paulo in November 2025 after 41 dates across the globe. The tour included stops in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo.

Although Gallagher previously ruled out any touring activity in 2026, he had suggested that plans for a return in 2027 might be underway. His recent remarks in Rome appear to confirm those expectations, with the Italian capital now confirmed as part of the band’s future schedule.

Gallagher has consistently teased future performances since the tour’s conclusion. At the final Wembley show of the Live ’25 run in September 2025, he told fans “See you next year” before jokingly correcting himself for potentially revealing plans prematurely.

Supporting the possibility of additional dates, Oasis guitarist Gem Archer hinted in December 2025 that Noel Gallagher had remarked there is “no rest for the immensely talented,” suggesting the band may continue touring sooner rather than later.

The band’s Live ’25 tour received widespread acclaim, including a five-star review from NME for their opening night in Cardiff, which praised the reunion as a vital burst of optimism for a new generation.

Beyond touring, Oasis is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November 2026. Gallagher, who previously criticized the institution, has since softened his stance, noting that his mother encouraged him to attend the ceremony and that he would approach it with “reverse psychology vibes.”

A new documentary directed by Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, is also in progress. Knight confirmed the film is currently four hours long and follows the Gallaghers’ return to the stage, with Noel Gallagher describing early footage as “amazing” and predicting the final product will be “astonishing” if it captures even a fraction of the tour’s energy.
