Meath, was determined to attend, having previously seen the Gallagher brothers perform live six times.
Tickets for the concert were exceptionally arduous to obtain,creating a high-demand situation for fans. hattie, facing the prospect of missing out, took a chance by attempting to acquire a ticket directly from fans outside the stadium.
On Sunday evening, Hattie stood outside Croke Park holding a sign expressing his desire for a ticket. “It was pure desperation at that stage. If it didn’t work I would have stood outside Hogan stand with all the other people,” Hattie told Donegal Daily.
After approximately five minutes, Ryan Campbell of Ramelton spotted Hattie. Campbell, along with his friends Neil Carbery and Dean Vaughan, both from Rathmullan, had a spare ticket.
