- Moats was the daughter of the late Douglas and Rosella Livengood Springsteen.
- She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harry Moats III, and her two sons, Zachary Moats and Connor Moats.
Dawn Marie (Springsteen) Moats, 55, of Fairchance, Pennsylvania, passed away at her home on May 9, 2026, with her family present.
Born on April 24, 1971, in Trenton, New Jersey, Ms. Moats was the daughter of the late Douglas and Rosella Livengood Springsteen.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harry Moats III, and her two sons, Zachary Moats and Connor Moats. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Ryker and Zaylynn.
Additional surviving family members include her brother, Mark Springsteen, and his wife Peggy; her sister, Polly Wilson, and her husband Larry; and her parents-in-law, Sharon and Harry Moats Jr. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Lori Reitler, and husband Rob, as well as nieces and nephews Hannah, Seth, Ryan, Reese, and Jacob.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, located at 134 West Church Street in Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m. And again from 6:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. Until 10:00 a.m.
The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. On Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, with Mr. Bill Simanovich officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Park in Farmington, Pennsylvania.
