Russian Drone Strike Kills Two in Odesa Amid Stalled peace Talks

A Russian drone strike struck Odesa,Ukraine,on Saturday,resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to 14 others,including children,according to local officials. The attack comes as U.S.-initiated peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine have reached an impasse, and Moscow has intensified its aerial assaults.
Odesa Governor Oleh Kiper reported that rescue workers recovered two bodies from a destroyed residential building. He added that the overnight attack left 14 wounded, three of whom were children.
Elsewhere,in the Kherson region,Gov. Oleksandr Prokudin said that Russian forces killed one person and wounded three others in strikes that targeted critical infrastructure, residential areas and social services.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and displaced millions of Ukrainians, devastating much of eastern Ukraine. Ukraine has responded with retaliatory strikes within Russia.
