The money helps to finance the 13-hour position of our BUND district association, which, among other things, organizes the Repair Café. People register their repairs on our website, and we ensure that the right repairers are there. On top of that we organize Café and Kuchen,
says Petra Rumpel. The organization also provides refreshments, fostering a sense of community among participants.
Along with Balz, other volunteers, like mechatronics engineer Christoph schmidt and Aniston Fernandez, contribute their skills to the Repair café.Fernandez, originally from India with Portuguese roots, repairs a wide range of items, from radios to deep fryers.
