A Tribute⁢ to Oil Contry’s Heritage

The Edmonton Oilers debuted their new alternate jersey on‍ September 20, 2025, during‍ the team’s annual Fan Day at Rogers Place. The design, created in partnership with Fanatics, aims to evoke a sense⁣ of nostalgia and ⁣honor⁣ the industrial roots of the Edmonton region.

This jersey marks⁤ the first time the⁢ Oilers have ⁢explicitly honored the region they call home through their uniform design. It features a light‍ tan base, intended to give⁣ a “broken-in” feel, and⁤ a blue collar element symbolizing the hardworking spirit ⁣of Oil Country.

Design Details and Symbolism

Several key design elements pay homage to the region’s industrial past. A special patch recognizes the work ethic of Oil Country’s industries, while ⁢subtle oil drop details are incorporated into the scripted “s” of the ⁤team name and an oil drop tag ⁢sewn onto the back hemline. These ⁤details are a nod to ⁢the brands trusted to keep machinery running⁢ smoothly.
