The NHL fined Walman $5,000 for his involvement with the Florida bench during the second period. After Panthers winger A.J. Greer took walman’s glove and placed it on their bench, Walman responded by spraying water at Florida players.
Additionally, Walman received a $5,000 fine for roughing Matthew Tkachuk in the third period.While Tkachuk was restrained by John klingberg, Walman delivered gloved punches to Tkachuk’s head. He received minor penalties for roughing and unsportsmanlike conduct.
