OL Lyonnes has advanced to its 15th Coupe de France final after defeating Strasbourg in a highly efficient performance. The victory ensures the club’s presence in the championship match of the prestigious domestic tournament.

The club is scheduled to face Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Coupe de France Féminine. The match is set to take place on Sunday, 10 May 2026, at 15:30 at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes.

Recent Success in the Coupe LFFP

This pursuit of the Coupe de France follows a successful campaign in the inaugural season of the Coupe LFFP, the women’s football league cup competition organized by the Ligue féminine de football professionnel (LFFP).

On 14 March 2026, OL Lyonnes claimed the title in the first edition of the Coupe LFFP. The final was held at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where OL Lyonnes defeated Paris Saint-Germain with a score of 1–0.

The route to that victory included a 4–0 win against Les Marseillaises in the quarter-finals and a 3–0 win against Paris FC in the semi-finals. The match in Abidjan was attended by 27,900 spectators and officiated by referee Émeline Rochebilière.

Club Profile and Standing

OL Lyonnes, formerly known as Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, is based in Lyon and has been the female section of Olympique Lyonnais since 2004. The club is currently managed by Jonatan Giráldez and is owned by Michele Kang, who holds a 52% stake and OL Groupe, which holds 48%.

The team is recognized as the most successful club in the history of the Première Ligue. This record includes 18 league titles earned as Olympique Lyonnais and four titles earned as FC Lyon prior to the acquisition. Between 2007 and 2020, the club achieved a streak of 14 consecutive domestic league titles.

On the international stage, OL Lyonnes has won eight UEFA Women’s Champions League titles. This includes a record of five successive titles from 2016 to 2020. The club has also secured five trebles when including top-level continental competition.

Upcoming Final Details

The upcoming final on 10 May 2026 will see OL Lyonnes, currently the leaders of the Arkéma Première Ligue, compete against Paris Saint-Germain. This matchup continues the rivalry between the two dominant forces in French women’s football.

The match will be held at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes, marking a significant opportunity for OL Lyonnes to add further silverware to its extensive trophy collection following its recent triumph in the Coupe LFFP.
