This result marks the second victory of the season for the Ole Miss program and represents the 11th tournament sweep under the leadership of head coach Chris Malloy. Malloy, the reigning Golfweek coach of the year, has guided the team to 14 team titles and 10 different individual winners for a total of 28 individual wins during his tenure.
Individual Performance and Titles
Senior Tom Fischer earned a share of the individual title, marking the second individual victory of his career. Fischer finished the tournament at 8-under par, sharing the co-medalist honors with Dain Richie of Mississippi State.
Fischer’s performance was characterized by consistent scoring, as he recorded his sixth consecutive under-par round. During his final 18 holes on April 14, 2026, he shot a 2-under 70, including a strong finish where he played the final five holes at 2-under par to secure his share of the title.
