Krystalynn Moore, a resident of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on May 19, 2026, to nine years in federal prison for her role in a conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
The sentencing was announced by United States Attorney Ron Parsons and was handed down by Chief Judge Roberto A. Lange of the U.S. District Court.
Moore was convicted of conspiring to defraud the Small Business Administration (SBA) by targeting federal relief programs. The fraudulent scheme specifically involved the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program.
The court found that Moore and her co-conspirators submitted false applications to the SBA to obtain loan funds. These programs were designed to provide financial assistance to small businesses, but the conspiracy involved the submission of misrepresented business data and financial information to qualify for the funds.
Following the legal proceedings, Chief Judge Roberto A. Lange sentenced Moore to 108 months in federal prison.
