Oman to Develop Electric VTOL aircraft Network with AeroVecto
Updated June 05, 2025
LYNEports and AeroVecto have partnered to develop a hybrid electric VTOL aircraft network in Oman, officials said. The collaboration focuses on planning and implementing AeroVecto’s shuttle, an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed to improve urban air mobility and public transportation.
AeroVecto’s Shuttle aircraft prioritizes passenger capacity and comfort, aiming to transform how people move within and between cities. The company envisions a new era of clean, efficient, and scalable urban air mobility across Oman and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
LYNEports will assist in the planning and simulation of AeroVecto’s Shuttle network. The company’s support will ensure each site meets aviation-grade safety standards, operational feasibility requirements, and regulatory compliance, according to a joint statement.
By using LYNEports’ AI-powered platform, AeroVecto can identify optimal locations, simulate flight paths, and visualize integrated transport networks. This will accelerate the adoption of advanced air mobility (AAM) throughout Oman.
Rasha Alshami, CEO of LYNEports, said, “We’re excited to support AeroVecto in bringing their innovative vision to life. Their commitment to solving real public transport challenges in the region aligns perfectly with our mission to make AAM infrastructure accessible, safe, and well-planned from day one.”
Fahad Al Riyami, CEO of AeroVecto, said, “At AeroVecto, our vision is to make high-capacity aerial commuting a practical reality for cities across the region. We are excited to partner with LYNEports to advance vertiport planning and route optimisation of the Shuttle network, enabling efficient urban air transport for the masses.”
what’s next
The partnership represents a notable step toward integrating technology with real-world mobility solutions. It also positions Oman as a regional leader in next-generation public transportation and AAM innovation.
