Qinghai News Network·Beautiful Qinghai Client News: On September 1, the first day of school, CCTV’s “First Lesson of School” was broadcast as scheduled. This year’s “First Lesson of School” excited Qinghai students. Snow leopards, desert cats, blue sheep… These animals around us walked onto the screen, using an animal food chain to tell the effectiveness of Qinghai’s ecological protection. Students of all ethnic groups in Qinghai wrote down their thoughts and ideas for the lovely China.

Suonan Cuomao, a fifth-grade student in the Third Complete Primary School in Nangqian County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, waited in front of the TV early. She was very excited when she heard from her teacher that CCTV would tell the story of snow leopards in her hometown today. On the first page of her reading notes, she wrote “The First Lesson of School” to the lovely China.

“We have had a good harvest of black barley these past two days. I followed my family to the fields and harvested the barley grains one by one. This is a harvest season. My mother said that black barley, cattle and sheep are all given to us by nature. Only by protecting this land can we have a better life. Today, after reading the story of the snow leopard, I was particularly moved. It is a unique creature on our plateau. Look how cute it is. We also have snow leopards in our hometown. We all treat it as a friend. It is very cute to think of it shuttling through the mountains.” Sonam Comao also drew a cute snow leopard in his notebook.

How can we protect our animal friends? Suonancuo wrote: “In order to have more animal friends, we must not destroy the environment. My parents have the same idea as us, and they are all protecting the mountains and rivers of our hometown. I love my hometown, and I love our unique animal friends even more.” The animal friends described by Suonancuo include yaks, blue sheep, pikas…

From the source of the Three Rivers to the Hehuang Valley, Qinghai students are proud of the Qinghai elements in the “First Lesson of the School Year”. Xue Jiaqi, a sixth-grade student from Jingya Primary School in Chengbei District, Xining City, invited students from all over the country to come and see the blue sky of Qinghai and the snow leopards.

On the evening of September 1, Xue Jiaqi and her family finished watching “The First Lesson of the New School Year”. She said that the wonderful content made her feel restless for a long time. “As a student in Qinghai, what excited me most was that in this class, the magnificent ecological picture of Qinghai was slowly unfolded. The sky of Qinghai was as blue as a gem, the white clouds seemed to be within reach, the vast grassland was endless, the green waves rose and fell with the wind, the herds of cattle and sheep were like pearls scattered on the grassland, and the clear lakes were like the eyes of the earth. Every frame was a beautiful picture.” Xue Jiaqi wrote to the lovely China and the beauty of her hometown, and there were always many beautiful words.

Xue Jiaqi said: “I can’t help but want to extend an invitation. I hope that students from all over the country will come to Qinghai to see the blue sky and beautiful scenery of Qinghai, and come to Xining Wildlife Park to see the snow leopard, a national first-class protected animal.”

“There are many things to be proud of in my hometown Qinghai.” Feng Yanru from Grade 9 (2) of Shenjiazhai School in Xining wrote to the lovely China. “What impressed me most in this year’s “First Lesson of the School Year” was Nidong Lamao’s introduction to his hometown Qinghai.” Feng Yanru followed Nidong Lamao’s introduction and continued to write about the beauty of her hometown Qinghai.

Feng Yanru wrote: “Qinghai is a place where many ethnic groups live together, with a long history and rich culture, melodious folk songs, Tibetan ‘Thangka art’, unique ‘Hehuang embroidery’… My hometown Qinghai also has many unique delicacies, which attract many Chinese and foreign tourists. The beauty of Qinghai also lies in its profound cultural heritage.”

“Through “The First Lesson of the School Year”, I learned that the survival status of snow leopards is the criterion for judging the entire plateau ecosystem, so snow leopards have an indispensable position in the entire plateau ecosystem.” Feng Yanru also wrote about Xining as the “Snow Leopard Capital”, taking snow leopards as the theme, and showing the charm of snow leopards in various ways, attracting countless tourists.

Li Gaoyuxuan from Grade 6 (2) of Qiyilu Primary School in Xining City was proud of the appearance of the snow leopards “Lingshuang”, “Lingxia” and “Lingzhe”. She said that as the camera switched, the lovely “Lingshuang”, “Lingxia” and “Lingzhe” appeared, with silver-gray fur, sharp eyes, thick eyebrows and big eyes, showing the style of “King of Snow Mountain” everywhere.

“We followed Lingzhe’s footsteps to appreciate the beauty of Qilian Mountain National Park and learned that the mountains and waters of Qilian Mountain National Park nourish the vegetation, so there are rich wild animal and plant populations. In the snow leopard habitat of Qilian Mountain National Park, we saw the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, and people’s cherishment and careful protection of the natural environment.” Li Gao Yuxuan wrote down her feelings and thoughts.

Our lovely China is our beautiful home. This year’s “First Lesson of the School Year” allowed students from Qinghai to feel the importance of respecting nature and protecting the ecological environment.
