Samsung has released the latest One UI 8 beta build for supported devices, including the Galaxy S25 series. The update, weighing in at over 1.2GB, focuses on bug fixes and system improvements.
The new Samsung One UI 8 beta addresses several issues, including intermittent fingerprint recognition failures and unlocking errors. Galaxy AI weather and time wallpapers have also received fixes, along with improvements to the Air Command icon behavior when the S Pen is detached. The update also resolves an issue where alarm sounds were not functioning correctly.
The update brings a new feature designed to improve interpreter performance. Additionally, the update addresses a text alignment issue with the Now brief and a problem with the morning briefing screen persisting. The battery widget icon has been improved, and a bug causing widget size on the lock screen to increase has been resolved.
Other fixes include addressing volume reduction during Bluetooth calls in vehicles and resolving a problem where no sound was heard when notifications arrived during gameplay. The update also stabilizes software through updates to various apps, including the Camera app.
