The most meaningful change is the expanded functionality of bypass charging. Previously, bypass charging – which routes power directly to the system instead of the battery – was onyl active during gaming through Game Booster. Now, OnePlus has added versatility, allowing users to utilize this feature in more scenarios.
Other improvements in the update include refined app categories and upgrades to Private Safe. The January 2026 security patch is also included, bolstering the device’s security.
