Contrary to earlier speculation that the OnePlus Nord 5 would feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip, a Geekbench listing has surfaced indicating the device will instead utilize the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The listing, associated with model number CPH2707, reveals the phone is equipped with 12GB of RAM. It achieved scores of 1,977 in single-core and 5,090 in multi-core testing. The phone appears to be running Android 15, likely layered with OxygenOS 15.
While the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e is considered superior in CPU and GPU performance,the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 should still provide a satisfactory user experience.
