Open day at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Visitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the history of the organization and admire the exhibition elements located in the hall at the entrance to the ministry’s central headquarters and in the “Grigore Gafencu” Hall: diplomatic archival documents and objects, dedicated sections for the diplomatic uniform, NATO anniversary, the “George Enescu” International Competition in the Diplomatic Archives.
Sections are also established that reflect the manner of events specific to diplomatic activity: receptions of foreign officials, political consultations, work tables, negotiations or signing of documents.
Visitors will also have access to the headquarters of the Training Center for consular staff located at Strada Daniel Constantin no. 17, where they are presented with the consular services and procedures carried out at diplomatic mission and consular office level.
On Friday, public access to the MFA offices will be between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, and visitors will have access every hour.
Entry is by appointment, starting at 1:00 pm, at the main entrance from Aleea Alexandru no. 31, Sector 1.
Filming and photography is permitted in the site visited.
