On December 16, American tenor Michael Spiers, accompanied ‍by French pianist Mathieu Pordoy, will ⁣perform a program of German Romantic⁤ song⁣ at the Latvian National Opera. The ‍performance will ⁢feature Richard Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder, Gustav Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen (Songs of a Wayfarer), Richard Strauss’s​ Four songs, and Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s song cycle‍ Unvergänglichkeit (Immortality).
