OPPO unveiled the Find X9 Ultra on March 22, positioning the new flagship smartphone as a high-end tool for mobile imaging. The device is the result of a co-engineering effort between OPPO and Hasselblad, aimed at delivering a mobile imaging system inspired by exploration and high-fidelity color reproduction.
The central feature of the Find X9 Ultra is its camera array, which includes dual Hasselblad 200MP cameras. These sensors are designed to maintain clarity in various lighting conditions, both during the day and at night.
Complementing the primary sensors is a Hasselblad 50MP 10x Ultra-Sensing Optical-Zoom Telephoto lens. This hardware allows for 20x optical-quality zoom and can reach up to 120x digital zoom for distant subjects.
Imaging and Video Capabilities
Beyond static photography, the Find X9 Ultra supports 8K Ultra-Clear Video Recording. This capability is intended to allow users to film high-resolution content with professional-grade clarity.
The device introduces a new-generation True Color Camera, which OPPO claims provides natural tones. The smartphone includes a new-generation Hasselblad Master Mode, designed to emulate the workflow and results of professional photographers.
Design and Hardware Specifications
The physical design of the Find X9 Ultra draws inspiration from the Hasselblad X2D 100C Earth Explorer Edition. The aesthetic follows a Scandinavian minimalist approach, incorporating a combination of metal and leather to provide a tactile grip.
To support its power-intensive camera and display features, the device is equipped with a 7050mAh large battery. Charging is handled via 100W SUPERVOOC and 50W AIRVOOC technologies.
The Find X9 Ultra runs on ColorOS 16, the latest iteration of OPPO’s operating system, which the company describes as smart and smooth.
The launch of the Find X9 Ultra represents OPPO’s latest attempt to push the boundaries of mobile hardware, specifically targeting creators who require professional-grade imaging tools in a handheld form factor.
