Oppo is preparing to launch the Find X9 Ultra, a flagship device positioned as a high-end photography tool. According to reports from PhoneArena, the device is expected to be officially unveiled on April 21, 2026.
Leaked specifications indicate the Find X9 Ultra will feature a quad rear camera system designed for extreme zoom and high-resolution imaging. The primary camera is expected to utilize the Sony LYT-901 200 MP sensor, which is also found in the Vivo X300 Ultra. Sony claims this sensor provides advantages in dynamic range, tone rendering, and detail.
Advanced Camera Array and Optical Zoom
The camera system includes two periscope lenses to handle long-range photography. One periscope lens is expected to provide 3x zoom using a 200 MP OmniVision OV52A sensor. A second periscope lens is rumored to use a 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor to achieve 10x optical zoom.
Rounding out the rear array is a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor. To ensure color precision, Oppo is expected to include a 3.2 MP multispectral sensor dedicated to color accuracy.
Display and Internal Hardware
The device is reportedly being tested with a BOE OLED display featuring a 2K resolution. Other reports specify the use of an LTPO OLED screen, which allows for variable refresh rates to optimize power consumption.

Under the hood, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, positioning it among the most powerful Android devices for 2026.
Battery Capacity and Design
A significant upgrade in this generation is the battery capacity. The Find X9 Ultra is expected to feature a 7,000mAh battery, a figure that exceeds the capacity of the Vivo X300 Ultra.
Real-life photos of the device show a sleek design with a prominent camera island. While the device retains a large camera array, the Hasselblad logo has been moved from the center of the island to the side. The camera lenses themselves appear to have a 3D effect rather than the flat circular appearance found on lower-end models.
