Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Position Available at Medical University of Vienna
The Medical University of Vienna is seeking a qualified physician to fill a position as a specialist in Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Surgery. The role, identified by reference number 140/26, is available starting April 1, 2026, with a working time commitment of 40 hours per week.
The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is currently €7,643 (paid 14 times annually), with the potential for additional compensation based on specific job requirements.

The position is offered as a temporary replacement for an employee on leave, with an anticipated duration until March 31, 2027.
Responsibilities and Activities:
- Independent research and participation in research projects
- Teaching, examinations and supervision of students
- Administrative tasks and evaluation measures
- Support for the organizational unit
- Night and weekend duties
- Scientific activities
Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
- Completed medical studies with a relevant doctoral degree
- License to independently practice medicine as a specialist in Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Surgery
- Qualification in research and teaching
- Demonstrated scientific activity in the relevant field
- Very good German language skills (C1 level)
- Dual approval (Doppelapprobation)
