How to Extend Account Validity
Orange Free na karta (prepaid) customers can extend the validity of their main account and bonus internet allowances by sending a specific SMS command to 8002. The available commands correspond to the desired extension period:
- START31 – extends validity by 31 days for 9 zł,
- START93 – extends validity by 93 days for 19 zł,
- START365 – extends validity by 365 days for 39 zł.
To utilize the service, customers must have sufficient funds in their main account and be in an active period – meaning they must be able to make outgoing calls. The fee for the extension is automatically deducted from the available balance. Purchased validity days are added to the existing expiration date of both the account and any bonus data.
Reactivating an Inactive Account at the New Rate
The same pricing structure applies to the “Konto ważne od nowa” (Account Valid Again) service, which allows reactivation of accounts that have entered a passive state – meaning outgoing calls are blocked.
Customers can activate this service in two ways:
- Sending an SMS command – AKT31, AKT93, or AKT365 – to 80199,
- Logging into the Mój Orange (My Orange) app or website and activating the service online.
The cost remains consistent: 9 zł for 31 days, 19 zł for 93 days, and 39 zł for 365 days.
The reactivation fee is charged against funds blocked within the “Nowa Gwarancja Zwrotu” (New Refund Guarantee) service. Once the new validity period is purchased, the account returns to an active state, and any remaining blocked funds are released back to the account with a new expiration date.
Importantly, if the remaining validity for incoming calls is less than 93 days after purchasing the service, the operator automatically sets it to a full 93 days, starting from the day following the purchase.
Orange Polska also offers options for topping up accounts and data allowances through the My Orange app, allowing users to manage their services and check account validity. A 50 zł refill, for example, provides 50 zł of credit, and 2.27GB of data, with an additional 12GB available if the refill is completed online. A 100 zł refill offers 100 zł of credit, 6GB of data, and a further 30GB when refilled online.
