Israeli Raids on Lebanon ⁢Result in Brother’s Deaths, Escalating Tensions

Two Lebanese brothers were martyred today, Monday, in an Israeli raid on southern Lebanon. According to the Ministry of Health,⁤ this ​brings the number⁤ of ⁤martyrs consequently of Israeli raids on lebanon as Thursday to 13, while Israel has intensified ⁢the pace of its raids this month.

the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in a statement ‍that “the Israeli enemy’s raid on Al-Bayyad, in the Tire⁣ district, led, as an initial outcome, to ⁣the ⁣fall of two brothers as martyrs.” The ‍official National News agency reported that the raid targeted a sawmill in​ the town of Al-Bayyadh.

Coinciding with the Israeli escalation, Secretary General of Hezbollah Naim Qassem stated in an ​interview with the party’s Al-Manar channel on‍ Sunday night that Israel⁤ is following‌ this pace “as ‍there is an American-Israeli decision that says this pace helps put pressure on ‌America to take politics unless ⁤Israel takes it ⁤to war.”

Qasim stressed that his party is ready to “defend” if necessary.​ He said: “Now,if they continue,they will not‌ achieve their‌ goals,as ​we are present and ready and the resistance is there and wants to defend.”
