Osaic to Acquire CW Advisors for Wealth Management expansion

Osaic, Inc., backed by Reverence Capital Partners, is set to acquire CW Advisors, LLC, a Boston-based registered investment advisor (RIA) overseeing $13.5 billion in assets.The move significantly expands Osaic’s reach in the high-net-worth wealth management sector. CW Advisors, acquired from Audax Private Equity, boasts a core wealth and family office platform supported by 140 professionals across 17 offices.
The acquisition provides CW Advisors access to Osaic’s high-net-worth capabilities, including services from Premier Trust and Highland Capital brokerage. CW Advisors, which currently custodies with Schwab and Fidelity, will maintain its brand and operational independence as a standalone RIA within Osaic’s network. This strategic move underscores Osaic’s commitment to expanding its wealth management services.

This deal follows Osaic’s earlier acquisition of Payant Wealth Management Group and its May announcement that wealth management programs from five credit unions, previously with Atria wealth Solutions’ Cuso Financial Services, joined its institutions channel, collectively managing $500 million in assets.The acquisition of CW Advisors marks one of Osaic’s largest strategic moves to date as it consolidates under the osaic Advisors banner, solidifying its position in the wealth management market.
