Osaka Baby Abandonment: 23-Year-Old Woman Arrested

On the 15th, the baby’s body was found with most of its body buried in Ogimachi Park in Kita Ward, Osaka.

According to the police, the baby girl was a recently born and had an umbilical cord still attached.

Police proceeded with the investigation and on the 16th, his 23-year-old mother appeared in a police station in Osaka City and was arrested on suspicion of abandoning the body after admitting to being involved in the incident.

The arrested was Hagito Nazuki (23), a part-time worker in Higashiosaka City, Osaka, and it is believed that the baby he gave birth to in another location on the 12th of this month was abandoned in the park that day.

In response to the investigation, he said, “I did something incredible. I dug the soil, put the baby in it, and poured the soil over it.”

The police are investigating the details.
