Osstem Implant Receives European MDR Certification for 156 Dental Surgical Instruments

The MDR (Medical ⁢Device⁢ Regulation) certification system is a law that the European Commission⁢ has been implementing since May 2021. Unlike the existing MDD certification guideline, it has legal binding force ⁣and serves ⁤as a mandatory ‌requirement for exports to the European region. By ‌obtaining this certification, Osstem Implant has demonstrated its ‍ability to meet ​the stringent requirements of the ‍European market.

Ostem Implant plans ⁣to obtain additional certifications for its main products, implants and superstructure-related products, by ⁢the first half of 2025 and complete certification of bone grafting materials and dental materials by 2026.
