Hu Jinyan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, and Nehad El Mahboub, President of the Egyptian University of Science and Technology attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by He Yan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President.

Hu Jinyan first expressed his gratitude to President Nehad for his support for the cooperation between the two schools. He pointed out that Qingdao University attaches great importance to cooperation with the Egyptian University of Science and Technology. In a short period of time, the relevant departments of the two universities have been in close contact with the college and worked efficiently to organize this meeting to discuss how to better promote cooperation between the two parties and promote the implementation of the results of the visit. . Exchanges and cooperation focus on implementation. This working meeting should focus on discussing and promoting cooperation from three levels: student exchanges, scientific research cooperation and teacher exchanges. During the meeting, he made suggestions on substantive cooperation such as student exchanges. He also hoped to find cooperation opportunities focusing on the field of medical research and build a new platform for scientific research cooperation on the basis of existing exchanges.

Nehad expressed his approval and support for the cooperation between the two schools. He put forward suggestions and ideas on specific implementation details such as exchange studies, hospital internships, and cultural experiences for medical students, and said that in order to promote further exchanges between students from the two schools, he would actively apply for support from the Egyptian Ministry of Education.

During the discussion, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges and docking around joint training projects for medical undergraduates, short-term student exchange projects, double degree projects in China and scientific research cooperation projects.
