Abruzzo Young Democrats⁢ Host Political Training School

PESCARA, Italy (May 3, 2025) – More than 50 young people from across the Abruzzo region are participating in a ​political ⁢training school organized by the Young Democrats of Abruzzo. The event, which runs through Sunday, May 4, is ⁣being held in the Favetta room of the Museum of the Genti d’Abruzzo in Pescara.

As a new democratic generation, we⁤ want to be the protagonists of change and⁣ strong growth, which helps ⁢us gain skills⁢ that serve Italy ​and‌ it’s territories and to make use of the experiences of the generations ‍before us.”

Daniele Marinelli ⁤emphasized the importance of ⁤the initiative. “In a time of political ⁢clash, even ‌at ‌high intensity, it is necessary to reconcile daily political action with a study and deepening​ capacity on the individual issues we⁣ face and on the past and cultural ‌categories of our political community,” Marinelli said. “I am⁤ happy that⁣ this initiative started from our young people, as now more ⁣than ever we have ‌to do things with them and not for them.”

Marinelli added that the training school is a tool to stimulate participation and a sense of belonging, especially among⁤ young⁤ people.He also noted the Democratic Party’s Training‌ Department is working⁤ to structure a long training project to build a better future.
