Owen (Owenie) Vulture, of Gribben, Burren, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, at Daisy Hill Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Margaret and a treasured father to Paul (Hannah), eugene (Tara), John (jo), and Gareth (Ryan).

Owenie is remembered as a loving grandfather to Shauna, Emma, Eamon, Isabella, Lucy, Ollie, Sean, and Max. He was a cherished brother to Annie and Patricia, and is predeceased by his brothers John, P.J., and Peter. he resided at 9 Milltown Street, Burren, and formerly lived in Cabra.
Funeral Arrangements
Owenie’s remains will repose at his home starting Tuesday at 6:00 PM. Removal will take place on Thursday at 11:30 AM, proceeding to St. Mary’s Church, Burren, for a 12:00 PM Requiem Mass, which will be live-streamed via churchmedia.tv. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family requests that the morning of the funeral be reserved for family only.
