But in general, we assess them on technical skill; their understanding and execution of the movements, artistry; how they interpret and convey the emotion of the dance, and stage presence; their command of space and ability to engage the audience.

Maria Sanchez: It’s much more than just a competition. It’s a fantastic platform for them to showcase their talents, recieve valuable feedback, and learn from their peers. Backstage, there’s a real sense of community and camaraderie.
