Former Penn State Nittany Lions wide receiver Julian Fleming was seriously injured Friday night in an ATV accident in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. His girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd, 23, died in the crash, state police said Sunday.
The accident occurred when Fleming,24,and Boyd were driving on a rural road near the New York border and struck a deer. According to police, neither Fleming nor Boyd were wearing safety equipment at the time of the accident.
Fleming, a standout wide receiver, initially played for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2020 to 2024.A highly touted prospect from Southern Columbia High School in Pennsylvania, he transferred to Penn State for the 2024 season.

during his time with the Nittany Lions,Fleming played in 16 games,recording 14 catches for 176 yards and one touchdown. Prior to that, he had 79 catches for 963 yards and seven touchdowns in 38 games for Ohio State.
