The⁢ Pac-12 Conference and CBS Sports have finalized an agreement, extending‍ their media partnership through the 2030-31 season. The declaration came Monday,solidifying CBS’s role ‍in broadcasting key conference games.

Under the terms of⁤ the deal, CBS will air the Pac-12’s football and ⁢men’s basketball championship games. These games will also be available for streaming ‍on Paramount+. In⁢ addition, CBS will broadcast a minimum of three regular-season football and men’s basketball games each season. The CBS Sports Network will carry further ⁤regular-season games for both sports.

Pac-12⁤ Commissioner Teresa Gould emphasized the importance of the partnership.‍ “Our goal with this process was to find⁣ transformational partnerships ⁢for the new Pac-12, ⁤and throughout ⁢our discussions and time ‍together it ⁣became more and more clear that a partnership with ⁢CBS Sports would be⁤ just that,” Gould said.

The⁣ conference has indicated that⁤ additional media partnerships will be ⁣revealed as they are finalized. This follows an April announcement that CBS, The CW, and ESPN would share rights to ⁣13 home football games⁣ featuring Oregon State and Washington State during the 2025 season. The CW is slated to broadcast nine of those games.

Looking ahead, the Pac-12 is set ‍to expand its membership to at least eight ⁢schools in 2026. Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Utah State are all expected to join the conference.Gonzaga will also join for sports ‍other than football. Sources indicate that ‍Texas State is the leading candidate to become the eighth football-playing member, although no agreement has been reached.
