Paige Bueckers Enters Concussion Protocol, to Miss Games

The Dallas Wings will be without rookie star paige Bueckers after she entered concussion protocol, the team announced Friday. The No. 1 overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft, Bueckers will miss at least two games as a result of the concussion protocol.
The team did not specify the circumstances leading to Bueckers being placed in the protocol. In Thursday night’s 97-92 loss to the Chicago Sky, Bueckers recorded 15 points, eight assists and five rebounds.

Bueckers will be sidelined for the Wings’ home game against the Sky on Saturday and their road game against the seattle Storm on Tuesday. Her status will be re-evaluated following those games.
