The History of the Cultural Phenomenon
The group was founded in 1984 by Gianna María Lodi, who is in charge of the artistic part. It was initially created to entertain children’s parties in Caracas, featuring university girls who wore colorful wigs and panties made of luminous fabrics and finally developed into a great musical show with which they toured internationally.
At the moment, Las Payasitas Nifu-Nifa keep their agenda active, with humanitarian activities in different countries and are very excited about different shows as part of their tour through Latin America, Europe, and the United States.
Gianna Lodi is a psychopedagogue by profession and tries to work hand in hand with parents, educators, and public and private organizations with the aim of protecting childhood, with the slogan ”Innocence does not go out of style.”
The fact that Gianna Lodi is a psychopedagogue and that she is always surrounded by children gave her the opportunity to realize that they need music and recreation specially directed for them. The group’s motto was always to do things WELL, with LOVE and DEDICATION.
