Pakistan Ambassador Condemns Israel at UN – Accusation of Aggression
Pakistan Blasts Israel at UN Security council: “Aggressor Playing the Victim”
New York – In a fiery address to the United Nations Security Council, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, vehemently condemned Israel’s actions, accusing the nation of violating international law while hypocritically portraying itself as a victim.
Ahmad’s strong words came during a special session of the UN Security Council on Thursday, November 9th, convened to discuss Israel’s controversial attack in doha, Qatar. Israel claimed the attack targeted senior Hamas leaders.
“It is unacceptable, even ridiculous, for an aggressor, an invader, a serial violator of the UN Charter and international law – namely Israel - to abuse this chamber and disrespect the sanctity of this council,” Ahmad declared, as reported by Al Arabiya on Saturday, September 13th, 2025.
Ahmad didn’t hold back, branding Israel as an “invader who dose not listen to anyone, who does not heed any advice, even from his friends, if there are still any.”
He further accused Israel of threatening members of the international community, international media, human rights organizations, humanitarian organizations, and even the United Nations itself and its senior officials.
“Israel has acted wiht impunity, protected by its repeated defenders, tantamount to condoning its illegal actions and its defiance of the international community,” Ahmad asserted. He drew a parallel between Israel and “all invaders” throughout history, who, despite being the aggressors, attempt to manipulate the narrative and play the role of the wronged party.
The Pakistani Ambassador’s scathing remarks were a direct response to Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon, who had attempted to justify the Doha attack by comparing it to the 2011 US Navy SEAL operation in pakistan that resulted in the death of Al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden.”When Bin laden was eliminated in Pakistan, the question asked was not, ‘Why target terrorists in foreign areas?'” Danon argued in the UN Security Council forum.
Israel’s attack in Doha on Tuesday, November 9th, has drawn widespread condemnation, particularly due to civilian casualties.
The UN Security Council’s special session concluded with a joint statement condemning the Israeli attack and expressing strong support for Qatar’s sovereignty and its crucial role as a mediator in the ongoing Gaza negotiations.
Notably, even the United States, a staunch ally of Israel, supported the joint statement. This consensus, requiring approval from all 15 member countries, is seen by many
